TSOKOLATE by Linfood

Posted by jet MUSIC | Thursday, December 9, 2010 | Category: , , , , , | 0 comments

TSOKOLATE is a mini - resto, bakery, cake shop and cafeteria that serves very satisfying foods. They define themselves this way:
"TSOKOLATE byLinfood, produces a complete line ofbread, cake & pastry items that are made fresh daily. They do notcompromise in their ingredients and take pride in their baking. Their creation can be made to your exacting specifications to fulfill your desires and tosatisfy your unique taste."

I've heard a lot of good words about this place so we paid a visit one time when we were craving for Lomi. I think I had a "love at first sight" with the place. :P

I love this display of collection because, first, it's a music - related memorabilia, and it features artists that I like. You can see a jukebox there where they put the electric fan. There are also large disks which are the CDs used before. There's also a guitar, pictures of bands and album covers. There are also cute old telephones under the flat screen television.

I think the owner is fond of collecting cool stuffs like this old telephone. There are also old radios and old cd player. I'll be posting the pix soon.

They sell cakes, barbecues, lomi, breads and pastries.

Customers may rent laptop or desktop computers for 30 pesos/ hour.

This is what one of their tables looks like. It's a table with an aquarium below it. I find it really cool.

They also have a modified sewing machine table.

We ordered  Lomi that costs 75 pesos. It is sooo delicious. I love it!
Rating based on price and taste: 4/5

Their cakes are a must - try!

If you're looking for delicious and affordable meal, Tsokolate is one of the place to visit. :)

They are located in:

The view
This is what we always saw there everytime we wake up and before we sleep.

Our hotel :D

The Bean - Shaped swimming pool
This is located below our hotel room.

The other pools :D
This is located near the entrance.

Our rooms.
We rented two rooms, one for the boys and one for the girls.
I don't have an idea how the other rooms looked like.
Our rooms are on the upper most part of the hotel with two balconies (front and back) over-viewing the lake.

 The balcony at the back.

The balcony at the front.

You should bring your own food there, cooked or raw. You may use their kitchen for free if you want to cook. You may also ask them to cook for you but you have to pay them. Their restaurant is still under construction.

(WAIT! THERE'S MORE!)

UPDATE AS OF DECEMBER 20, 2012

They already have a restaurant, zipline and a website! Checkout http://www.alindahawlakeview.com/index.php/overview.html. Their rates are highly affordable and there are new rooms constructed. Booking is slightly difficult since they dont have Online Reservation System but if you contact them, they reply to your inquiry within the day.

Food?  - Bring your own food. However, there are carenderias (mini - resto) there where you can buy food.
Cottages: made of bamboo and other woods.
Rating: 2
Additional info: There are mini - stores there. CR are made of wood, a little bit dirty but it's okay. You should pay first before using any comfort room there. The place is underdeveloped.

Amadeo's Dormitel (now Universal College ZC) ROOFTOP

Posted by jet MUSIC | Sunday, February 15, 2009 | Category: , | 0 comments

Well, what do I have here? I would like to share to you the pictures I made out of love for the sunrise. I don’t remember what exact day I took these pictures. I think it’s about New Year. Hmmm..

All the following pictures are taken by me, it’s all mine, and if you want to use it just respect my rights to own them, alright? Haha.. After all I volunteered to share these with you.

Please click the photos for larger view, it looks better that way. :)

Hey, I made this blog first in Microsoft Windows 2007 because I don’t have an internet connection at home. Here’s a screen shot as a proof haha:
I think MS Word ’07 is overly helpful yet irritating haha (laugh laugh laugh)
Okay then let’s start!
This is me, I just woke up when I realize it's already sunrise so I immediately went to the rooftop and make pictures, exploiting the view.

I started taking pictures of the view by the sea, the cell site (or wherever it is), east? West? I really don’t know
This is the cell site of Globe. Hmm.. I just reduced the noise of the photo; clicked Filter > Reduce Noise > Ok.
And then it turned like this. The colors are as it is. This is a view from the top. I never thought that skies could be in shades of violet during sunrise.

I love the sky.
I don’t know if it's tilted, or it's just because of the lens, or I just don’t know how to capture the right angle, or it's just nice.. haha

The mighty cell site of Globe network provider, hmmm.. I wonder if it'll ever collapse.

The weary roofs that comfort me, morning or at night, morning until night. Haha…

Oh my, the super zoom of the camera, look over there, it’s the sea..
The island there behind is the Santa Cruz - white sand island. How I wish I have the strength to go there. Haha, (I’m scared for many reasons).

And so I looked at the sky and saw the glory of the sun.

The mountain here, I think, is in Pasonanca. I’m not really that familiar in places here in Zamboanga City. Huhuhu
But I really do think it is in Pasonanca, Zamboanga City.

Another angle on the rooftop, the building at the left is what we call Buenavista tower, one step away from my dormitory.
Good morning.. I haven’t really thought that skies could be violet at sunrise.

The spaceship like building at the back is the Jasmin tower, our neighbor and twin sister of the Buenavista Tower. ( I love this photo's larger view, click it);

The Christmas lantern, hanging on the curved metal on Buenavista tower. It was really days after Christmas.

I changed the settings of the camera and so the colors turned on like this.
The view is from the Cathedral, it is still sunrise, lolz. For me it looks like sunset. Now I disturbed the Cathedral part of ZC.

Enjoy the rest of the pictures

Oily face and eye bags, if don’t care I love the sunrise.

The view of the Cathedral without zooming the camera in.

The mighty Cathedral; the sun burns the innocent sky.
It is about 6 in the morning. Hmmm.. sunrise.. I’m lovin’ it.

Waah it looks like more of a horror shot for me, it's blurred but for me it's still okay.

Birds!
It's no edit the focus is really at the bird.

Good morning tall bird! How lovely it is to disturb you at daylight! (Please click the photo to view the glory of the "tall bird")

Hihi the bird stood there in solitude, I assume..

I love birds. This bird is now almost tall as the tower haha whatever.. \m/

Aaah I’m so wasted! But never mind, look at the street below.. Lo! Below..

That’s the INC (Iglesia Ni Cristo) church. Say hello to the bird :)

It’s the Mayor Jaldon St. of Zamboanga City. Hmm, I couldn’t explain more about the geographical aspect, just enjoy the picture. Haha

Mayor Jaldon St. [ not yet traffic ]
The view from the top I don’t know what street this is. haha

Hello there blue sky of Zamboanga, I will miss you
(Click the pix)

Okay! that's all for now, I'm already sleepy.. .ZZZzzzz... There are still a lot of pictures from the trip on the rooftop.
Good night for me.. I mean Good morning.. haha... it’s 12:39 am. See you sunrise later. [February 16, 2009]
